- Ensuring that the purchasers have a cover note insurance in place
- Confirming dates for settlement and special conditions
- Preparing all necessary documentation, statement of costs, adjustments;
- Co-ordinating all parties to ensure papers are signed and settlement occurs as planned;
- Attending settlement, ensuring "clear title" is conveyed to purchaser, proceeds are disbursed in accordance with instructions and government stamp duty is paid.
- If acting for purchaser, ensuring that government benefits are provided by lender at settlement;
- Notify council, SAW of change of ownership
